Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the website at the domain yztd.org.tr, operated by Yapay Zekâ ve Teknoloji Derneği. Third-party sites reachable through links on our site are subject to their own privacy policies; the Association is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
Information we collect
You do not need to provide any personal information merely to browse our site. Your information is collected only in the following cases and only to the extent that you provide it:
- when you complete the membership application, contact, newsletter subscription, or publication request forms,
- when you e-mail the Association directly.
In addition, cookies and similar technologies are used to operate the site and measure its use. Details of which data is processed for which purpose and on which legal ground are set out in the Privacy Notice.
Use of information
We use the information you send us only for the purpose for which you sent it: to assess your application, to respond to your request, to deliver the publication you requested, or — where you have consented — to send you our newsletter.
We never sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
The following service providers are used in operating our site:
- Resend — delivery of form notifications and newsletters by e-mail.
- Google Analytics — measurement of site usage. It runs only if you consent to cookies.
- Sentry — monitoring of technical errors. It is configured in the European Union region and the logs are filtered so as not to contain personal data.
Data security
The Association takes the technical and administrative measures appropriate to ensure a suitable level of security, in order to prevent the unlawful processing of and unlawful access to your personal data and to ensure its safekeeping.
To that end, site traffic is protected with current encryption protocols (HTTPS), access to the administration panel is subject to authorisation, and form submissions are rate-limited against abuse.

Strictly necessary technologies

- Maintaining session state. A third-party cookie placed by Google Analytics. Duration: 2 years. Technical name: the cookie starting with _ga that contains our measurement id.
Analytics cookies run only if you consent via the cookie notice shown on your first visit to the site. They are not placed in your browser unless you consent.
You may change your cookie preferences at any time. To withdraw your consent you may clear the site data in your browser or notify us at iletisim@yztd.org.tr. You may also block cookies entirely in your browser settings; in that case some functions of the site may not work as expected.
