Toros Şahin

Toros Şahin graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and further received his master's degree from the same department. He also holds a master's degree in Health Economics from York University, England.

Throughout his career, Şahin has worked in different multinational companies in positions such as Business Development Specialist, Pricing Specialist, Pricing and Reimbursement Coordinator, Market Access and Health Economics Director. Şahin has been the Market Access and Corporate Affairs Director at Gilead Sciences Turkey since 2017.

Toros Şahin has taken part in and lead many working groups of the Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies for more than 10 years.

Şahin, who is married and has a daughter, is not only supporting the efforts for the simultaneous access of patients in Turkey to new treatments made available for the first time in the world; but also involved in activities to ensure gender equality in business life.
