Selçuk Bayer

After receiving his Master’s degree in Management Information Systems in 2009, he completed the Executive MBA Program in Istanbul University Institute of Business Economics in 2014. He still continues his doctorate studies at Istanbul Commerce University, Department of Industrial Policy and Technology Management. He has an experience over 20 years in one of the leading companies in medical sector, Varinak Oncology Systems, in different departments such as Technical Service, Information Systems, Sales and Marketing and after Varinak’s acquisution by Varian Medical Systems in 2020, he is still working as Sales Manager in this company. 

In addition to his professional business life, he mentors technology-based startups within TÜBİTAK and works as Project referee in Technoparks of some universities. As an active member of the All Entrepreneurs and Business Mentors Association, he works as an entrepreneurial mentor. He continues his research in this field with the trainings he received on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Data mining, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He is the author of the section “Artificial Intelligence applications in Radiation Oncology” in the book, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Technologies.
