Özgür Burak Akkol

Akkol started his career in 2002 as a Production and Productivity Engineer at Nautilus Foods, USA. Following this role, he started to work as a Human Resources Specialist at Koç Holding in 2003, in Turkey. Between the years of 2005 and 2009, he held roles such as Audit Specialist and Senior Auditor in the Audit Group of Koç Holding. During this time, he took part in the audits of Durable Goods Group, Central Audit Group and Energy Group companies. Afterwards, he transferred to the Human Resources function as a System Development and Human Resources Manager in 2009. Akkol was appointed as the System Development and Human Resources Coordinator in 2010 at Koç Holding. Between 2014-2021, he served as the Human Resources Director in the same organization. In 2021-2022, he held the role of Head of Human Resources and Industrial Relations. As of April 1, 2022, he became the President of Tourism, Food and Retail Group of Koç Holding.
